The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Center on Children, Families and the Law (UNL-CCFL) provides set-up, training and support.

Please register below based on location.

If you are a user at a Community Action Agency your Primary/Initial training MUST be done with Community Action Nebraska prior to being trained by CCFL.

The Agency Administrator or Executive Director must complete an End User License Request Form (LRF) to start the process. Return the LRF by email to the HMIS System Admin Team OR by fax 402-472-8412.

User Training

Lincoln HMIS New User Training

Prior to the training you will be provided information to complete a Privacy and Security Training through Moodle. This course MUST be completed before your scheduled training. 

Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday from 8:30am – 11:30 am CENTRAL or 12:30pm-3:30pm Central.  
Training starts promptly at the scheduled time If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.

Training is at CCFL, located in the Sharp Building. Address is 206 South 13th Street Suite 1000

Users must be registered and have completed the course in Moodle by end of day the Friday before the training they want to attend. Training will be limited to a maximum of 4 persons per training to assure attention is given to each user.

Balance of State HMIS New User Training

This training is live via the internet using Zoom. You must have a computer that has video, speakers and a microphone.  

*A Balance of State new user may choose to attend in person.
